幸新杰(Daniel),男,管理学博士,英国利物浦大学管理学院供应链与运营管理系副教授。研究方向包括海上物流、道路运输和区块链在供应链管理中的应用,尤其是运用仿真和数学规划方法解决问题。曾任职于Toyota、SpecTec公司,现任英国全党派议会团体(APPG)Web 3.0和元宇宙顾问委员会成员。研究成果发表于European Journal of Operational Research、International Journal of Operations and Production Management、Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review以及Annals of Operations Research等国际重要学术期刊。
【报告摘要】
Tank container industry is a specialised container sector focusing on petrochemical logistics. A key feature of the tank container (TC) operating industry is that customers overhold TCs to provide temporary storage equipment for their contents rather than provide their own storage facilities. It is challenging for TC operators to have a profitable fee (demurrage charge) for this service making it an attractive business proposition, as well as effective for container network flows. To address this problem, we propose a progressive hedging algorithm with expanded time-space network (PHA-ETSN) to jointly optimise TC demurrage policy, fleet sizing and network flows. Experiments demonstrate both computational and managerial values of our work.
